Quaker Oats Australia Pty Ltd has invested heavily in all stages of production and quality control.

We contract directly with growers of specific milling variety oats and the grain is received directly into our own receival and storage facilities on site. Every delivery is subject to Quaker Oats Australia's strict receival standards to ensure only suitable oats are used in the production process.

All Products produced at the Quaker Oats Australia Pty Ltd facility are manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. Product are manufactured against a customer's purchase order and not simply manufactured for Stock. Therefore the product that is supplied is fresh with the longest possible shelf-life and it is made specifically for the customer's end application.

The processes that are undertaken at Quaker Oats Australia are balanced and controlled to ensure that the oats are handled gently and are processed to achieve the best possible finished product flavour and nutritional profiles.

 Quality Control

At all stages of the processing, Quaker Oats Australia Pty Ltd imposes strict quality control measures. As the product being manufactured is a Food product, either as an ingredient or more often consumed as is, it is vitally important that the integrity of the finished product is maintained.

Hazard and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practise (G.M.P.) plans are in place for all stages of storage handling and processing.

All Product is sampled upon manufacture and prior to despatch and analysed in the on-site laboratory to ensure that it is within specification.

All practises of Food Safety are maintained including cleanliness, uniforms and hair covering in the manufacturing areas.

Metal detectors and magnets are used to ensure no metallic items find their way into the product or the finished packages.

Quaker Oats Australia Pty Ltd has 10 years of export experience supplying industries such as hot breakfast cereal repacking; cold breakfast cereal manufacturers; snackfood manufacturers; the bakery and cooking trade; and grain processors in Asia, Australasia, the United Kingdom, and Latin America.

Quaker Oats Australia Pty Ltd has a strong customer service focus based on the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with its suppliers and with its customers. It is recognized that these relationships are the core to the strength of the company.

Export shipments are in 20 foot or 40 foot food grade sea containers or smaller quantities can be shipped via freight forwarder.

Voyage times from Fremantle to South East Asia are from 6 to 12 days depending on the discharge port and to North Asia are 12 to 20 days depending on the discharge port. For other destinations, please contact the Sales and Marketing Department.

As products are only manufactured to Customer's Order and stock is not carried, it is necessary for advance notice to be provided. This will ensure that the right product is available on time and when required.
