The Heart Foundation Tick is a self-funded public health program which aims to improve the nutrition of the food Australians eat most often and deliver better nutritional health outcomes for all Australians. The Tick nutrition standards focus on improvements that impact positively on your health such as limiting saturated fat, salt and kilojoules and making sure there is more of the healthier nutrients like calcium and fibre.
To earn the Tick, products must be independently tested to meet standards for their food type.
